In the ever-evolving world of automobiles, pickup trucks are the undisputed heavyweights. But when it comes to choosing the best of the best, which brands do the AI models favor? Evertune's AI Brand Index, a measure of how likely an AI model is to recommend a brand, reveals the winners and losers in the pickup truck arena. Buckle up as we dive into the data.

Ford: The Undisputed King of the Road

Ford roars ahead, with OpenAI's GPT-4o recommending it a resounding 98% of the time, Google's Gemini close behind at 95%, and Meta's Llama topping the charts with a perfect 100%. It seems the AI world agrees that Ford is the frontrunner, echoing its dominance in the real world.

Chevrolet: The Reliable Runner-Up

Chevrolet, another American classic, pulls in strong numbers as well. GPT-4o grants it an 88%, Gemini chips in with 86%, and Llama goes for 89%. Chevy may not be the king, but it's certainly the crown prince.

Ram: The Underdog with Muscle

Ram trucks flex their muscles with GPT-4o giving them 78%, Gemini showing more love at 85%, and Llama landing at 82%. Ram might not have the legacy of Ford or Chevy, but it's clear that AI models see it as a worthy contender.

Toyota: The Reliable Performer

Both GPT-4o and Gemini rate Toyota in 4th place, at 77% and 76% respectively, with Llama agreeing at 76%. Toyota lags behind U.S. manufacturers when it comes to pickup trucks.

Nissan and GMC: The Middle Grounders

Nissan and GMC find themselves in the middle of the pack. Nissan scores 66% with GPT-4o, 63% with Gemini, and 61% with Llama. GMC is slightly better off, with GPT-4o at 65%, Gemini at 70%, and Llama at 62%.

Honda and Jeep: The Niche Players

Honda and Jeep, while popular in their own rights, don’t seem to impress the AI models as much. Honda scores 55% with GPT-4o, 48% with Gemini, and 50% with Llama. Jeep does slightly better with GPT-4o at 36%, Gemini at 53%, and Llama at 48%. These brands might need a bit more horsepower to climb the AI ranks.

Rivian and Tesla: The Electric Dreamers

Rivian and Tesla, the EV newcomers, seem to have a way to go in the eyes of AI. Rivian gets 25% from GPT-4o, a meager 7% from Gemini, and 4% from Llama. Tesla fares similarly with 20% from GPT-4o, 7% from Gemini, and a mere 2% from Llama. It appears the AI models are cautiously optimistic about these trailblazers, waiting for them to prove their mettle.

Conclusion:

As the data shows, traditional brands like Ford and Chevrolet continue to dominate the AI recommendations, while new players like Rivian and Tesla have some ground to cover.
